I carry my camera into the woods and water,

not to chase moments -

but to be there when they arrive

Life is often full and moving fast. In the woods and along the water, I set aside distraction and wait. The work is patience - staying present long enough for the quiet world in front of me to reveal itself.

Based in Pennsylvania, I photograph the fields, forests and waterways around me in every season. I also travel when i can, photographing birds in other states as well. Getting close to wild birds takes patience and time. Staying long enough for that distance to close is what makes the result feel well-earned
